ok.

well i have been downloading some stuff for my sims 2 game, and while i was downloading something-well first off you know when you click download and a box pops up asking do you want to save this file? well that didnt appear. instead, it went on downloading on to a temporary file thing and i cant even find the downloaded files- they usually are in mysavedsims file or downloads and its not. please help me find a solution

Did you simply try re-downloading the file and seeing if it gives you the option to save? I don’t use IE (I assume that’s what you’re using) so I’m not sure how much help I can be, but if you know the file name you can just search your entire hard drive for it. (my computer > C: > press ctrl+f)

I also have to suggest using a browser with a built in download manager like firefox or chrome.
