I am in $37,000 in debt!

Is there anyone out there who has been there or know what to do? I am a recent college graduate who is seeking employment but can’t find a job with my credit score of 527. This debt of $37,000 is not student obligations, rather, they are all credit card related. So outside of my student loans, I have this mass of debt. I am out of options.

I don’t understand why your credit rating has anything to do with finding a job. Everyone is having financial problems right now. I lost more in the stock market last year than I made working! Six f-ing figures… join the club.

Most employers look at credit scores nowdays for hiring possibilities. The more you owe, the less your credit score, the more employees are likely to steal from employees. As bad as that sounds, that’s how it is!

I meant to say the more employees owe the more they are likely to steal from employers.

If you were employed, yes. Definitely file for unemployment.

I would strongly advise getting out of the stock market.
It will continue to fall to perhaps DJ 2000 or less.
