Re: religious people
I get some of the nastiest replies when I tell people there is no god. And they always claim to be some of the nicest people. Oh well. They bought one lie. They must have no trouble buying one they created.
choking…tears…God…takes off…huh? I am choking with laughter though lolll, does that count? :P
Just because you don’t believe in God, doesn’t mean he’s not there. I promise you, on my life’s blood, in your darkest hour you will find him.

How could you know?
Like when we are in hell we will know?
If God loves us so much… Why go through life to be with Him?
Jus to be with Him directly would be so much better. There will be no doubt…
Bleh. No one was ever inspired by an internet argument. Online, the only thing that impresses anyone is kind words.

I don’t care if god exists as long as I get to PARTY.

I do not agree… Actions speak louder than words. That`s why i`m beeing nice and respectful to all people i meet. I don`t need to go around talking nice. By showing people a different side of man i inspire to good behaviour.
He has always been there for me. I pray that at some juncture you have the faith to let go of preconceived notions for just one moment and open your heart to the possibility. Really ya’ll, I don’t want to push or shove, but I’d be amiss if I didn’t share the joy ;)
thought: people can call themselves anything, doesn’t make it so.
You dont have to be religious to believe in God. In The end the question is,
Would you rather believe in God and die to find out their is none …
OR
Would you rather not believe in God and die to find out hes real? ……
This is a stupid post. First of all, if you don’t believe in something, why bother others that do? Second of all, who cares?
After reviewing the empirical evidence regarding the nature of human existence, I’m fairly certain that there is no god, or if there is, he is irrelevant and unknowable.

If you don`t care… Why posting here?

No. Everything I believe in can be observed in some empirical fashion.
Think a little further dude. Join me on this. Does the wind really blow?
The wind? Wind is our perception of the energy transferred between colliding air molecules that collide with our skin, sending electrical signals along our nerves that our brains interpret as wind.
Air molecules?
Allright.
My point, You cannot SEE the wind but we know it`s there. We can see the effects of it. We could measure motions in molecules…
God.. Where does religion come from? Mad men wanting control?
All these people with sparkles in their eyes. Crazy?
Well. Then what is the CAUSE of this?
Why do people hold religious beliefs? It is probable that there are multiple reasons.
Citizen
let me ask you can you prove their is no God?
My point exactly thanks Dr. House

It is a meaningless point.
On a cosmic scale.. What in your life has any meaning?
Personally im not very religious, but I seem to get along with people who are. In fact I wouldn’t mind being married to someone who was religious.
Also, I say let people believe what they want. Im pretty sure that no matter how much people say that there is no god or there is one, if someone has a set belief then im pretty sure just one little small opinion on a computer screen won’t do much to change it.

That question doesn’t make any sense.
Why?
All right. Some time far into our future the sun will lose enough of its mass that its density will decrease greatly. This may either vaporize this planet or leave it a red hot rock. You have some question about this?

But then again, when the sun starts to die, I would imagine that some of the gravity will loosen and the earth would probably drift away in space.
That was acknowledged in the article I read, and my reply includes the consequence for that situation. The red hot rock part refers to the part if we drift out.

Nope. No question. I`ll be long gone and forgotten millions of years before that happens.

I also believe this to, we will probably be long gone before it happened.
