Having to repeat a grade, should I stay in online schooling.

I had been planning on resuming public high school. The one I went to in 9th and 10th grade. Now, I am a junior, and after several years of slacking off, for lack of a better phrase, I will need to repeat a grade.

I don’t think I’ll be able to face people at school because they’ll all know. And it will be so crushing to not graduate with my class and watch them.

This whole online high school thing was supposed to be a one year thing, to take a break from regular high school. But, now…

What would you do in my shoes?
Should I go back to public school
or
continue my online schooling?

In the end the only thing that is important is to graduate. I would finish school no matter what it takes. Don’t give up.

Oh, and accreditation is not an issue. The online public school I attend is Insight: School of Washington.

No, stick to you current school. I understand you must be ashamed with the teachers, and your friends *who already at higher grade* thats part of lesson in life you know… you have to be brave to face this thing. Later on you might find more shameful moment and youll be okay, because youve learnt to face it rather than to run away from it. Long time ago i used to have a classmate who wasnt made to the next grade, some friends talking behind his back, but he took it well *and act more mature to face it* The last time i met him, he’s a successful manager in a good company. So.. what happened more than 10 years ago was just a small phase in his life *and good thing he took it well not to runaway from it* –> i think what happened at that time built up his character without his realized it, maybe things will be worst if he avoid it back then with home schooling. In every failure there has to be something you should learn, at this point your failure happens so you can learn not to avoid problem instead of face it and be brave about it.

My current school is online schooling. I took a break from traditional schooling for a year. I am not worried about people teasing me. I don’t care. The problem will be with me. I don’t think I’ll be able to see all the people I grew up with graduate without me. And I just know that I’ll just be horribly depressed over it. And then, subsequently, I won’t do that well in my classes.
