google help: i have a website. - Help.com

i have a website.

For that site i am working google search engine optimization from the past 5 months on wards. I have some common meta keywords.if i type that keywords my site is does not appearning in top 100….even i gone through the google web master tools…..but the result is zero…..what i have to do….please don’t suggest SEO specialized person…….

In Google, the metatags (other than title=”") are more or less meaningless.

Note that SEO is a misnomer — people only optimize for Google.

But also note that less and less people pay any attention to Google results any more (they are mostly dominated by spammers, SEO hacks and Google partners) — if you want to show up in the top 100 results on Google for any meaningful word (or phrase), you will need expert help (and/or lots of money).

My advice to you: Forget about Google — just look for a different community (or build one ;).

But here my job is google search engine optimization job…….my boss want to see in top 10 according to his meta keywords………..if i fulfill that thing he is happy with that thing…Is it possible to acheive in top 100 with me?????….what my boss is suggesting if you have internet you can do miracles…….he is saying like that…..

SEO is like gambling — Google’s “rules” get changed all the time, so what comes out top 10 is really quite random (apart from some factors that are beyond Google’s control, such as the domain name).

In fact the domain name is the only reliable metadata on the Internet (and that’s why the prices for keyword domain names [like help.com] are so high).

If you have money to invest in domain names, I could help you. Otherwise I can only wish you good luck!
