How can I pay for college?
I know I could get loans and find scholarships, but is there anything else I could do while I’m still in High School?

Get a job and save money
I dont have a car right now so I can’t get a job yet. No one would give me a ride, their all busy with their own lives.
loan, financial aid, work study.
get a cheap car somehow or work near your house.
what about mowing lawns or babysitting around the neighborhood?
hmm…i guess i could babysit. anything else? I just need some simple ways to make money.
its all about financial aid. if you come from a broke *** family like i do. then they will pay for it all. payed for my school books and a new computer.
salliemae.com… you can set up an easy payment plan with your school of choice and you don’t have to start paying on your loan until after you graduate. My payments are only $70 a month for 6 years… not bad!
pet sit. walk dogs.
these are all great ideas! thanks! i just dont want my parents to spend all their savings and retirement money so i can go to college. i wanna help out too.
Get a job any job. I did, I washed dishes till my hands where prunes at a local restaurant. I also emptied sh#t, literally, by emptying bedpans in a hospital as an assistant. I worked two different on call jobs to put myself through college:)
You are parents dream.
It’s very admirable that you don’t want your parents to spend their savings and retirement money.
But just remember that a college education will help you find a high paying job. And once you get your career going, you will be able to help your parents out financially.
So my suggestion is for you to talk to your parents about them “loaning” you their money. Tell them that it is an investment in your future. And then work out a repayment plan with them.
That way everyone wins. You get to go to college, and they don’t have to worry about losing all there money.
What do you think?
