Help!

My computer is broken. I always use for playing games, but now games don’t work. Everything else does. I try to run them, but the just keep minimizing themself, down to the process line. Can anyone help me?
PS. Sorry for my bad english. I’m from Scandinavia

First, the stupid question, have you rebooted?
2. Do you have anti-virus? (if not check out AVG)
3. Do you have or have you run Ad-Aware?
