school help: I can’t stop crying. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I can’t stop crying.

I go to an all male boarding school. I told my parents that with all my heart, I didn’t want to go, but they said I had too. For the 2 years that I’ve been here, I can’t remember one time that I was happy. In my opinion, single gender schools are a terrible idea. I am very sorry if I offended anyone. I just need someone to calm me down. Please. I would appreciate it.

i disagree with gender separation too. A good compromise would be to have boys and girls go to separate classrooms but walk through the same halls and eat lunch together

I used to think going to boarding school would be good, but the whole one gender thing? thats a no no. Single gender schools are very…one sided… Idk.
The nly people who can really be in a relationship there are gays and bi’s :/

Yeah i went to a school that was all girls because my parents were fed up with my flirtin with boys. (but they didnt know that i go both ways!) lol so off they sent me and three months later i got shipped back because they caught me mackin on my girlfriend. (it sucked because we really liked each other) lol but what im sayin is that single gendered schools are a bad idea. my friend ***** was shipped off to this hooty totty school for boys and had to leave his girlfriend. about a year later he came back with a BOYFRIEND

I just plain hate my parents for doing this to me. And I hate the government for allowing single gender schools. Again, I’m sorry

maby you can convince your parents to let you go to another school (if theyll only let you go to a bording school ask to go to a girls and boys school) i think their worried about you being distracted if you went to a girls and boys school…

you can try explaining to your parents that this is not working for you and that if you knew why they put you here, may be you can clear out their fears and go someplace else.

my school life sucked when we shifted town. i practically grew up in my old school and wanted to finish my schooling there. it was so much fun, but when we shifted i became very nervous and dumb and started flunking. they were both girls and boys school but i hated the last one. i still can’t get over those four years. :(

you should try talking to them and make them understand.
or.. you could always, like the above person says, get involved in some outside of school activity.
