No you are not too tall for heels! If your height is an issue for you find yourself a 6′2″ or taller BF. Then you can wear any size heal you like and he won’t be shorter than you. Some guys like taller girls though so don’t fret too much.
Relax and wear what you like. If you are taller than other girls then who cares. And being taller than the boys isn’t too bad either. Nothing to worry about honey just relax and be yourself.
Go with what u want. Tall girls are hot. I once met a girl taller then myself. She walked in heels and she was totally awesome. Way out of my league and she had a BF.
Still i`d give it a go if she had been single.
I am 6 foot and I will heels because I feel good in them. I dont think you should feel insecure about it. Being tall is beautiful. Dont let it ruin you. Find yourself some tall friends…thats what i did to make the insecurity go away. plus you stand out being tall its great. Men love tall women!

Hey, I am exactly your height… and I’ve felt exactly the same way. I also happen to have lots of really short friends… I LOVE heals, they are my favorite.
Good news, Everyone will get taller really fast. I was 5′8″ since the beginning of Jr. High (and stopped growing, luckily) and so I felt too tall for a long time. Now I look around and I feel so “average”… It is odd sometimes, to walk in a crowd and find out you are average, rather than towering. I realized that I was taller for so long, I didn’t realize people had caught up. I realized those boys I found “short” are actually 5′8″ 5′9″, which is my height or taller.
Random Stats:
Average Female: 5′6″ (you’re only 2 inches taller, that’s nothing)
Average person male or female: 5′8″ (100% normal height)
(I don’t know average male height off the top of my head, although I could assume it is about 6′ based on the other two numbers)
(I’m 18 now b.t.w. It changed really fast.)
(oh, and just because you’re still 16, doesn’t mean that you have to wait it out. Get your favorite pair of heals and wear them. You’ll look great! I promise, you notice your height more than the rest of the world.)
I agree! I myself am almost 5′9. I used to have insecurity issues about my height, but there is really no reason at all to! Wear any heels or shoes that you want! It’s fun to be tall :)
My boyfriend loves it too. He’s around 6′ and he told me in the beginning that I was the perfect height for him. Haha..he made such a deal about it! I guess his ex’s were all alot shorter than me.

Im 6′1″,almost 6′2″, skinny, and 16 years old. I totally feel your pain! Im the tallest girl in the school. & its a big school!! Kinda emabrrasing, not gonna lie. Heels are off limits for me, i stick with sandals and slippers. Ive been told by multiple people to do modeling but being tall is embarrasing. I pretty much am sure ill never find a guy taller than me thats attracted to me. oh wellll!

16 here too, 17 august. i’m 5′8 and hateee it because i feel so big next to all my frinds who are all petite (im talking no more than 5′4) It’s horrible when ii get the feeling of being HUGE.. but at the end of the day, people love you for who you are not wht you are. Trust me, i’m 5′9 and 16, and have had all these feelings.
Being insecure about my height hasnt helped having such short friends,
but you know, going out, people always comment on me rather than them.
Guys love long legs, so to be honest, if you’ve got it, flaunt it!
Wearing heels can be a bit embarrasing, especially if you’re already tall, but they’re gorgeous and only enhance what you already have!
All in all, don’t be worried about your height, there are plenty of tall guys out there who love girls our size! :)

I’m 16 and I’m 5′8 too.
I used to be really self conscious about my height
But now I learned to lose that feeling of embarassment
and what not and now I feel great.
Besides tall girls look better in clothe than short girls

OMG!! i am the same height (well last time i checked)and one day we had to wear smart clothes and all my friends were wearing high heels but i didn’t want to because i am already tall and i don’t wanna be taller than that….and my friends are really short!!…but my teacher told me to wear high heels because i will look nice in it and i did everyone loved it.

im also 5`8 and all my friends are about 5`4 but i still luv to wear 4 inch high heellls!! heels make you look a lot more stylized as long as you walk straight.
Im already 20 but hoping to grow at least an inch, my mom is almost 5`11 always wears heels so why shouldnt you??
