Pray. Let go of the rest of the world and just sit and pray to him. He’s known for helping you in times of need :)
i feel like im always talking to him but never getting an answer back
Acknowledge the voice as satan and give yourself in prayer. Go to church and talk to a minister/priest, they should be able to help you.

He does listen, and answer. Look to what is around you and you may have already been given your answer.
Ever seen Bruce almighty? He’s busy guy! ^^
When you have faith you will always have that little voice talking to you trying to convince you that there is no God. The stronger the faith, the more you will hear that voice. The greatest thing the devil ever did was to convince people that he doesn’t exist.
As for prayers, God answers all prayers even thought the answer is sometimes no. I pray nightly for relief from my pain. Some days I get it but most I don’t. I just believe that there is a reason for everything even if we never figure out what that reason is.
Just believe in what you believe in, you may not get an awnser back everytime but you are meant to live through your situations by your own strength. You wouldn’t be given a problem in your life if you didn’t already have what you need to take care of it. Honestly I would say don’t relie on anyone and stand on your own two feet.
i am always telling people to believe and pray and ive helped people get saved but i like im just there alone alot of times
I have seen some personal, what I would call miracles, in the last 4.5 years. Most of which I am sure I did not deserve. If you would like to hear about them to maybe give you some perspective I would be happy to share them.
Ok, it will take me a few minutes to type it. Since it is sort of long I’m going to do it on wordperfect then copy and paste it. I really hate to get a long post typed then mess it up,lol
oh deary i know it’s a very hard battle of the mind, but just know that God is with you and that every Christian, no matter how old goes through this every now and again. What your experiencing is Satan trying to persuade your mind and make you believe that God isn’t real. When you feel like this, just read your Bible and pray to God. When some nagging little thought comes into your mind that makes you question God or faith, just say “NO! I WON’T LET SATAN TAKE OVER ME! GOD IS THE ONLY GOD!” satan hates when believers of Christ mention God or when he sees us reaching out to GOD. That is when he tries harder to turn us from God. I talked to my mom about this when i was younger, and she said that there are many things out there that can easily turn us away from God, but know that he will always be there for you if you surrender yourself to him. So, if ever you feel questionable about something, just turn off your mind and pray to him. Also, many Christians are mislead by a big thing. Praying. I know you said that you are having trouble with getting an answer back from God. There are 3 answers he has for you: 1) Yes 2) No-because he has better plans for you 3) Maybe-but you will have to be patient. Perhaps look at the world from Gods point of view. Maybe you want something, but it’s not truly in the best interest for you. I know it’s hard, but all you need is PATIENCE. just know that he’s still with you, you just have learn to seek HIM. I’ll be praying for you. God Bless :) —”Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
another thing is that i sit here and hear alot of these stories but ive never experienced one myself
You probably have experienced one, but never realised it. It wasnt until I look back that I see the blessing I have been given.
When I have troubles with faith, I always recite my mantra, usually in my head. Its a very simple prayer
“Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a Sinner”
This also helps me avoid temptation and such.
Still typing,lol
I am typing as well. Please give me a few moments before you leave, I would like to say something.
Im going to sleep for the night but dont let that stop you please keep writing and ill look it up tomorrow.p.s. howd he know i was going to leave?lol
I pray that you get some good rest. Say a little prayer as you drift off to sleep. Good night and God Bless you.
Ok, most people are going to disagree with me when I say this, you may disagree with me when I ay this. But please, just listen to what I say. Are you sure that this is what you believe, or want, to believe in? I mean, if you are finding it hard to believe in God, are you sure of your reasons to believe in him in the first place? Religion without a reason or faith is pointless. Reconsider your reasons for believing in God, put all the facts, your emotions, advice from others, and what you feel, together, and make a decision. You don’t HAVE to believe in God.
This said, I am a Christian, but like I said, the general advice here seems to be brainwashing. “Go sit and read the Bible alone”… “Satan is trying to convince you he doesn’t exist”… well. These may be true… but if you only read the Bible or when you ever doubt Christianity then it’s Satan’s work… then I’m not sure that is being a Christian. God doesn’t support blind faith or brainwashing. Consider the world around you, and whether you truly believe God exists. If God is real and love, then he will show you proof that he exists, in one form or another, and he will not punish you for being confused or feeling lonely.
Peace and long life.
i also thought about the whole miracles happening thing not that long ago as well. i was sitting in my chair wondering “why don’t miracles happen now a days like they did in the Bible?” (ex: Daniel and the lions den, shadrach, meshach, and abendigo, etc) and then a thought came into my head. Back then miracles were recorded. Today, because our world is so insanely corrupt, when miracles do happen, they’re either overlooked or if they are, the praise is NOT given to God. It’s given to magician’s or luck, or whatever else. i also brought this up with my parents and they agreed with me. They said that miracles DO happen now a days, they’re just not recorded like they were. As for amazing miracles happening in my own life, i used to sit up and ask God to use me in a miracle or for something amazing. Now i realize that if God wants to use me, he will. Miracles have happened in my life as well. like my taking care of my whole family, especially my uncle, who had to get a heart transplant but he died for a few minutes. God saved him! My uncle doesn’t like to talk about this, but he mentioned one time that while he was dead, he remembered being surrounded by a bunch of people he did and did not know. He said he and they were traveling someplace, but their were people below him waiting in some sort of line, going the opposite way as he was traveling. He said he saw large gates in the distance, to where he said he was going. That’s when he was brought back to life. God uses us in so many ways. To have an impact on other people, and to be the impact in one’s life. God bless :)
The last 2 posts are great and both bring very valuable points. Things that I had not even considered. I am still typing my story, it is a little long but for someone that really wants to see a miracle I am one, several times over. There is no reason I should even be sitting here writing any of this. If it can help just one person then I will be happy. It is taking me some time, I have to stop and wipe tears away as it was a very hard time for me and my family. The memories are sharp and clear and they hurt.
legotrekke, we are not brainwashing anonymous. we are helping him/her with their faith. this is exactly what im talking about. this is why Christians are so terribly confused, because satan works through non-believers to try and tempt believers to stray from God. God doesn’t have to prove himself to anyone. we don’t tell him what to do, he is the father and the creator of existence. Have you seen the movie Narnia? Aslan the lion is supposed to represent God. Gentle, caring, all knowing, brave, and strong. A wave of peace surrounded the children as they entered his presence. Jadas the white witch represents the devil. She was so kind to Edmund in the sleigh, but then when he discovered the horrid side of her, with all of her demonic friends, he knew she was evil. She was deceitful. C. S. Lewis wrote this novel to get that meaning across, for he was a Christian. I pray, anonymous, that you don’t take in the advice of those who are trying to persuade you turn from God, or even make Christians or even God look bad. I know i can only talk to you so much and go along with you for so long, but please know that we will be praying for you and God is looking out for you, just like Mufasa watched over simba from the sky in the lion king. If you need to think of it like that lol. God bless. and no matter what, stay strong :)
I’m not a “non-believer”. I believe in an omnipotent, all caring, loving, God. I believe Jesus came to earth and saved us all. I’m just saying that faith without doubt isn’t faith. It’s the only world you know. And if you really want to believe something, you HAVE to challenge it. When God asks you “Why do you believe in me?” What are going to answer? If you say “Because my parents taught me to and the Bible says so”…
:|
That’s God’s reaction. Your not believing, your letting yourself be brainwashed.
Ok, here is an example to clear things up.
You are trying to convert a Muslim to Christianity. He goes “No, you are a non-believer, trying to corrupt me, Alah doesn’t want me to listen to you” and he won’t. That is what you are doing. You will never know what is reality and what isn’t if you don’t experience and question everything.
look, whoever you are, just relax. If you want them to know him, give them some bands to listen to … if they like rock try skillet, tobyMac, Hawk Nelson… these all hav gud messages n we only help :D
69er guy out ;)
Ok, finally got it done. I really didnt know it was going to be 2 pages long so I dont blame you for not reading it. It does tell a pretty good story though.
you can’t blame stuff on the parents. if a person says that they believe in jesus christ because their parents taught them that it was right, well the parents knew what was right so they wanted to teach the child what was actually right instead of letting them be brainwashed or sucked in by other religions or groups. the parents would have wanted to get their child on the right path, but of course the child has to develop his/her OWN relationship with GOD, but the parents just wanted to prepare the child for the harsh world.
Thank you jules. this really does help me. in fact it reminds me of all the things that happened to me in 2008 and how much god has helped since then. i only wish that i personally wasnt so blind not to see how much he has helped.
p.s. you’re a really good writer
Just take a moment,l go to your room shut the door and lay on the floor, no music no noise and just lay and pray ask god to be there with you again. Lay on your stomach, head on the ground and ask for hik tobe with you
Wow, alot of… stuff on here. One question: have you ever accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour? That may be the root of the problem anon…
