Is there a way to do this?

Is there a way to set up my email account so that I can get a confirmation email letting me know someone opened an email I sent without the person actually knowing? I use hotmail.

In outlook, your contacts list will show you that the person is on line by coloring the icon beside the name in green. I am not sure that is what you want to know.

Not possible in hotmail. It’s why it’s free.
