You mean when you hit Ctrl+shift+Esc it comes out with a block warning? are you an admin? do you have a firewall on?

ctrl+alt+delete should bring up the menu that has the task manager.

Well thats odd. You could go through the control panel and look at the users section. Thats where you set who can do what. Alternatively you may have to reinstall the OS

when you go to control panel, useracounts, and change your acount type, is it checked on administrator or standard user?

Go to start, then control panel(on the right above the log out and shut down buttons). From their click on User accounts and family safety. Then Click user accounts. After that you should have a page that says change your password, remove your password, ect. click on change your account type. Is it set as a standard user or administrator.

Hm. Try making a new admin account then. Just go back a page or two and it should say something about add or remove accounts. Not really sure what to tell you.

Well I would try making one and using it before you do that. it could be the computer, in which case you doing that would just get rid of stuff

lol sounds like something in the registrys kinda screwed up, that may work if its a new acount? or else you could try downloading “whats running” if its the program i think it is, it should work just like task manager does
