Fat help: I am going to the hospital cause I am gaining weight by the minute. - Help.com

This post left anonymously

I am going to the hospital cause I am gaining weight by the minute.

Is that a good idea? Doctor specializing in what, should I see?
Been to the gym, took several dieting pills and had motivated myself earlier on to no avail. This is my last resort. But no surgeries for me. Only proper medical advice.
Many thanks for your suggestions.

first off, BBWs are a myth. second, if you honestly tried to loose your weight by dieting and exercising for a year, then the doctor is your last chance. but by the attitude of this post, i doubt that either things happened for more than a month. heres to the doc-in-the-box saying the same.

Look, no one is happy with their weight almost 95 percent of the time. However, perhaps your not trying hard enough. Sweating, working out for hours, eating plenty of HEALTHY food, TONS of water, and getting lost of rest is the main key. Just quitting after one week is what most people do.

When nothing works, usually people are cheating.

Unless you have a rare symptom with not being able to digest foods properly, my guess is your not trying hard enough. It’s a terrible things to say, I know, but that is usually the case. Don’t try TOO hard, just keep it simple. Stay away from alcohol and processed food. Fruit and Veges all the way. They taste nasty sometimes, but your body loves it. It’s the simple truth that many try to avoid.

With that many problems, you should have asked your doctor first. A dramatic change in food can make you sick. Maybe you are allergic as well.

Get yourself tested out, then listen to your doctor. Yes, this could be serious if everything you said is true.

i had that problem , i was normally thin and then suddenly i lost my menstruation and was gaining weight at an alarming pace, even though i did not eat allot,
i finally went to a natrupath and found out that i had a massive candida infection (its like a fungus)
it was affecting my metabolism , messing with my organs (reproductive and more)
he put me on a strict anti candida diet, and gave me probiotics
in the first week i lost allot of weight that was just water,
if your serious about loosing weight even if this is not your problem you will benifit from it and loose lots of weight
and you will feel great
go on line and look it up or go to a natrupath and get a consultation
apparently candida is a very common problem that many do not know they have , maybe you are one of them
good luck and feel good about your self whatever weight you are

by the way , a doctor wont find this candida, you need to test the blood live under a microscope, i had this problem for 9 months before i went to the natrupath, i went to 6 doctors before, they all gave me pills … making the candida worse every time
try to do it naturally

i had typhoid (i live in asia) for that they gave me very strong antibiotics, that fixed the typhoid but when you take antibiotics it also kills the good bacteria in your system , allowing candida to thrive, its litterally like mushrooms in your blood, if it gets that bad as it did with me

a good thing to do to start is take acidopholis every day, (even if you dont have it)

candida is like thrush, or a yeast infection, if it is bad it goes into your blood, men can have it as well

good luck!

Naturopathy (also known as naturopathic or natural medicine) is a complementary and alternative medicine which emphasizes the body’s intrinsic ability to heal and maintain itself. Naturopaths use natural remedies such as herbs and foods rather than surgery or synthetic drugs. Naturopathic practice includes many different treatment modalities, with practitioners emphasizing a holistic approach to patient care, and may also recommend that patients use conventional medicine alongside their treatments, if indicated.

Me? I am 5′10 and 190-200 Im a little over average, I carry it decently though. And no. Size atleast to me, does not matter. Confidance, pride in one self and who they are, is what matters.

I hate super modles, so fake and plastic.
Thin girls I would worry about breaking.

check out these sites

Candida can be transmitted sexually ( a man can have it but never know it), or it can come as a result of poor diet (too much bread wine beer and other starchy products especially sugar) stress or taking antibiotics

http://www.candida-society.org/ncs/sy…

http://altmedicine.about.com/od/popul…

to cure it there are pills that the doctor can give you but i dont recommend it, you have to kill naturally
