Hi all, I have a medical/nutrition question.

I just had to visit the vampires the other day. (aka the lab at the hospital) They took some blood, and they have asked me to follow a diet for the next week. I need advice on what to eat. It seems complicated.

they said to eat:
Well cooked pork, poulty, and fish
Any cooked fruit and vegetables
High fiber foods (whole wheat bread, bran cereal, popcorn)

and to stay away from:
aspirin and non-steroid anti inflammatory drugs (neither of which I use anyway)
no more than 250 mg vitamin c per day
Red meat (beef, lamb)
processed meat or liver
raw fruit or vegetables (especially melons, radishes turnips, and horseradish)

Anyway, does anybody have ideas for a meal? I need to know what fruit and vegetables can be cooked, but they are not supposed to have vitamin C in them. I doubt I can find any. seems complicated. I think I can do soup, and sandwiches, but that seems like the extent of my imagination.
Help me please!

Scalloped potatoes with ham, BBQ pork ribs, pork chops with rice are some ideas for pork. Bouillabaisse, scampi, and grilling are good methods for tasty seafood. Poultry can be anything from chicken cacciatore to smoked turkey sandwiches, or ground meat for burgers, chili, tacos and casseroles. Apples, peaches, cherries, pears, bananas and blueberries cook well and taste good unsweetened, in savory and sweet foods alike. Most berries (cranberry, juniper, strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, etc.) cook well in savory dishes but may need sweetening in desserts. All fruits listed make good sauces and add ins, although it’s important to thoroughly remove all seeds, pits! Ezekiel brand breads, fragrant rice, and Kashi brand foods are tasty and simple.

Certified organic meats, dairy, vegetables, breads, fruits and grains are healthy options. Also, avoid high-fructose corn syrup, MSG or monosodium glutamate, and bleached white flour.

Live well.
