I’m a sixteen yr old girl and am showing all the symptoms of a damaged liver.
Okay so lately I’ve been quite ill with a cold (bunged up, snotty nose, headaches, coughing etc) and it’s been going on a while but i’ve been pretty much okay.
But this morning I woke up feeling awful in a kind on spaced-out tired zombie way and i felt really dizzy and nauseous. I got in the shower, but I had to sit down in the shower b/cus i thought i was going to faint or be sick. I then got out the shower, and retched quite a few times while bent over the toilet. But i tried really hard not to be sick and eventually i stopped retching. But all day I’ve felt drained, more tired than ever and nauseous and I’ve gone quite pale and my skins is all green/yellow. I’m also really bloated. I’ve been really ill before and really tired before but NEVER felt like this. I googled it and I seem to be showing the symptoms of having a damaged liver :/
There are a few things i think it could be but im not sure and need some advice + reassurance.
so these are the things it could poss be:
- i have been known to smoke. i havnt actually smoked in a while (few weeks) but i have done so quite a bit in the past and when i do its usually quite a few in a row. i also used to drink a lot, get very drunk on friday and saturday nights.
i also went through a phase of not being able to face school unless i had vodka and coke throughout the day, but that was a while ago.
- im on my period (i never usually feel that bad when on my periods though. am pretty regular + i dont get very bad pains normally)
- i haven’t slept much lately
- im vegan, so might i be lacking in some kind of nutrient? ive been vegan for just over a year now
- i’ve been quite stressed out
is it one of those that is causing it? or some/all of them? i need to know so that i know what to work on first
thankyou! xxxx
by the way, i know i am definately not pregnant so dont suggest that :D lol
