Adderall: how is it effecting my body?
I take adderall recreationally, in doses of 30mg-60mg (.43mg/kg-.86mg/kg (XR caps). I limit my use to a max of 4 doses a month to avoid addiction and other negative side effects associated with high, repeated doses. I do not have ADHD, nor am i prescribed adderall.
Before i continue:
**I understand that trading medications without script is a federal crime, i dont need to be reminded.
**I dont need to read the “drugs are bad, your going to destroy your brain and die” posts, please.
Back to the post; Any help is greatly appreciated, if anyone can provide online resources pertaining to the negative effects (even technical), they would be appreciated as well. I have heard of neurotoxicity, increased risk of stroke, heart attack/heart issues, and gingivitis, but they seem to be related to high and often dosing, which (i dont believe) 30-60mg at a max of once a week to be. Also, i watch my diet and have a fairly healthy heart, during the summer my heart rate reaches a resting rate of around 45-50 BPM (i bike pretty long distances almost daily in the summer).
Quote from webMD - “When used in the typical doses used to treat AD/HD in someone who is healthy (e.g. without cardiac problems) stimulants are relatively safe and usually well-tolerated, and without long-term side effects.” Opinions on whether this is true in my case?
If i made anyone angry with my post, i am sorry. I dont know why i feel i have, but i do. Thank you again for your time!
