I like sam, but the thing I don’t like is the chat room problem. like nikki said, it’s basically samm’s room, and then another room. the chat before meebo was the best except for the lag. so I have nothing against samm really, but nikki is right about some things in her post
I agree, there is nothing wrong with wanting to do the right thing by monitoring bad behavior. The people that complain are just mad that they can be renegades who run around freely to cause trouble, as some people seem to like that.
i agree too! samm is an awesome mod!! hes wanted this forever and im really glad hes finally got it =)
personally ithink everyone should stop hating on him cause he hasnt done anything wrong! its just silly little things people are making up. honestly he would never do anything that would put his modding in danger!
Samm and Dani and any mod will have critics because they have to make unpopular but (usually) necessary decisions. I like Samm too, but no need to rag on Sophie either. Sophie’s a gem in my book. An opinionated little gem, but I still think she’s great. This going back and forth isn’t going to really help. Better to just let it go. Shout Helpmod if you have a better suggestion for a chat host.

It is not Samm’s room. Not in any way. Sophie is also a mod in that room. Samm really isn’t this power crazy monster oi. He doesn’t ban everyone…And anyway most people are in the other room and Samm can’t help it that there isn’t that many mods.

I couldn’t imagine her doing anything for that to happen. Will someone enlighten me please?

I never said he was banning everyone. I was agreeing with you about samm not being a horrible mod, but agreeing with nikki about the chat rooms

From what I know Sophie was spamming and making unsavory posts. Sophie has been banned many times not by Samm and she will always come back. She does do some trollish things but I love her man.

I think most of the posts were removed, but there were about 5-7(within say half an hour) all about the chat room. Most were closed and said to use the first post. To make the story short :D

I agree. This is totally prejudice. Samm is an intelligent, hardworking, compassionate person. I know him better than anyone and I didn’t support him being a mod until he actually became one…But now I think he can do it and do it well. =]
Sophie was spamming. She continues to post the same thing over and over. Mods are not always online and this gets very tedious. Samm was right in banning her. If you saw a troll spamming the same post over and over you would want them removed. So don’t be biased just because you know Sophie.

I kinda agree with you there. The mod decisions were not based on anything really except who was in chat at the time helpmod was in. Chat mods I think are much worse than site mods. I think helpmod needs to spend more time ON the site, learning about it and the users rather than trying to get us all to use other sites like twitter…
