Hi, I am trying to create a website where users can login.

I want certain features disabled unless you login but obviously want those features turned on once you have logged in. I have found a simple login script but this only blocks people from a certain page. I want the page to look the same but gain features once logged in. Does anyone know how to do this? I do not know much about programming so if you could explain as much as possible or point me to a website I would appreciate it. Thank you!
