Today i mark her passing and celebrate her life.

Today my grandmother died. She was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met who was never mean or nasty to anyone or any thing. She was a great mother and grandmother and i wanted to share her story and memory. She was a strong and independent woman who had to be strong to survive. She spent most of her life alone since her divorce but had good friends and a single son and grandsons she loved. She never had another partner since her divorce at a very young age, but she was strong… she suffered having had tuberculosis and had practicaly no lung function….. but she survived with a smile and love for those around her for so many years despite what all doctors thought…….. she was alone most her life living by her self…..she still stayed strong……. In her final 3 years she suffered with alzhiemers never knowing where she was or what she was doing, but her family was her only comfort and she smiled when she saw them always.
She used to be a dancer on stage and worked as a cashier so was still as sharp as a knife with money till she died today.

This was my grandmother who i loved hugely and saw so much of my self in. She is an inspiration to me to be strong when you have so much adversity and to still remain loving to all.

good bye nanna You will live on in me for as long as i walk this earth and i will never forget you or stop loving you.

Your grandson

I am very sorry for your loss, I also have had and have great love for my Grandfather, and do to to this day.

Love is stronger than death even though it can’t stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can’t separate people from love. It can’t take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.

The day she passed away is my dad’s birthday. One is a life that physically ended on Earth, while the other one continues to live its life in this material world. But both of these lives are fruitful and has a story to tell. Until the day comes when something knocks on the door and enters itself before one could open it.

I’m very sorry for the loss. I remember her calling once in a while. I told you once we might have wanted to visit her, you remember that? ….

Ben, her life is precious more than any memory you heart can find. She will not disappear even the hearts of hearts beat no more.

I am with you.

Please accept my most sincere condolences Ben. I know well how do you feel, I’ve lost my maternal grandparents before I could meet them and my dearest friend ever was my father’s mother, my beloved grandma. She died asking for me (of course we lived 10,000.00km away from each other then). To this day she still lives in my heart. Like my grandma, yours is in Heaven too, watching over you. Her life was filled with love and what you told us about her, she sounds a lot like she was a very generous and very special person.
