My ipod wont turn on!

My 4th generation ipod nano wont turn on. i was listening to music and the screen wouldnt turn back on and the music stopped playing. it also wont turn back on. help?

there are ways you could reset your ipod for it to work. My ipod does that all the time and it starts working again normally. Don’t worry :)

Try resetting it by holding down the center button & the menu button at the same time for at least 30 seconds.

That resets it when it gets stuck. Mine has gotten stuck twice & the second time I tried this method but it took like 70 attempts before it worked.

It’s worth adding that if your iPod refuses to go into Disk Mode and you hear a noticeable clicking sound, it’s likely a faulty hard drive. If the unit is a Fourth Gen, however, the problem might just be corrosion on the HDD cable and will need cleaned periodically. Good luck & I hope this helps.

my 2nd Gen. nano won’t turn on by touch….i have reset, restored, charged, uncharged, etc… it plays, but i always have to reset it to get it started. Anyone have that issue?
