I am a second year medical student and I am in desperate need of a personal loan in the amount of $10,000.

I have a credit score of only 596 and nobody will loan to me without a co-signer. I am trying to study for the USMLE step 1 boards this summer and need a way to pay all of my bills so I can do that. I also have a chronic illness that requires expensive medications each month that I need extra for over what the school considers necessary. If anybody has any ideas please let me know, I’ve tried everything I can and nobody will approve me for a loan. I would even be willing to pay $500 dollars to somebody if they could co-sign, but I don’t know anybody with good enough credit that I can even ask. School is stressful this semester and I really don’t have the time to deal with this, I hope I can figure it out soon.

I guess I wasn’t really expecting anybody to just hand me 10,000. But, I thought maybe somebody might know of resources that I don’t. If I had somebody in my family I could ask I wouldn’t be posting on here because I would already have the loan. I worked three jobs in undergrad and am working part-time now in medical school. If I were able to work more I would, but school is taking up all of my time right now.

I already took out all the loans I could, but they won’t cover the summer because I’m not in school. I have to take the boards at the end of the summer and need to study for them.
