its simple, get some white cloth, get it funky with mud so that you have offwhite-brown cloth.
now youll want to wrap some around your head, some around your waist, and wrap up your feet. use frayed looking rope.
if you want it to be authentic, make your slavers black, and your slaves white.
. .. though that will probably make people angry, truth usually does that.
