Strange Lump on Lower Spine, Cause for concern?

Hey.. this would be the only time that I’ve really addressed this issue, but I have a small growth on the lower end of my spine.. near tail bone. It doesn’t hurt, it’s not painful what so ever. It doesn’t itch at all and it’s basically a whole load of nothing.. but it’s there!

It’s approx about 1 cm.. it’s soft but risen, it’s hard if you pinch it but it doesn’t hurt at all under pressure.. and I’m talking about REALLY squeezing it… I’ve had it about 3 years or so and it just came from nowhere!

I have been meaning to get it checked out but I’ve never really thought much of it!

What’s your opinions?

The only answer is to get it looked at by a doctor. Only a doctor will be able to give you the answers you need. It is apparent that you are worried by its existence, so you should stop putting it off an book an appointment. Procrastination is silly in matters to do with your health, after all you would want it to be caught early and treated, if it turned out to be something which could affect your health.

It’s not something to be embarrassed about and would give you peace of mind, that at least you had it checked out.

you . are . turning . into . a . werewolf .

The only cure is a silver bullet. Sorry to have to be the one to break the news. I can help you out with the bullet if you want.

Won’t the silver bullet only bring death to a werewolf? If you are werewolf I suggest just locking yourself in every full moon, that way you won’t kill people and you get to live.

Please Please have it checked.I dont know your current situation but all I can say is any tumor or lump that does not hurt is most likely cancerous if not just fat.

I would get it checked out, but don’t be too worried. I have the exact same thing. It popped up (literally) 4 years ago and hasn’t gone anywhere. I’ve have x-rays, MRIs and bloodwork at multiple doctors and keep getting the same response… It’s there (it isn’t in my head), it’s abnormal, we don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t appear dangerous. For a while they thought it might be a lipoma (a lump of fat cells.. totally benign) but the MRI confirmed it wasn’t. Still, you should get it checked out to make sure yours isn’t more serious. If nothing else, it makes me feel better that someone else has one of these!
