I am a young mother of 2 little girls..

My children are 2 and 3 years old. There have been signs of abuse when they have came home from being with thier father. Ive called dcs and made a report EVERYTIME an incident has occured. The police and dcs keep telling me they are “INVESTIGATING.” I dont have any credit to speak of just because Ive really never used it before. I am in need of a loan for $4000 for lawyers fees to get my babys out of the situation they are in. I know Im a high risk because I dont have the credit.. I dont want the money to just be givin to me. I have a good job I just cant come up with $4000 for these fees all at once…But if someone where to loan it to me I am prepared to pay the interest. I am not here for charity, I just dont know where else to turn. If there is anyone out there that can help I would greatly appreciate it.

sorry i cant help with money cos i dont even have a job… you should keep a log of every incidence that happens… the date, time, whats happened (bruses, cuts, marks) that way if or when you take it to court, it shows the court that you really do care and took note of it. the courts do see it as evidence. my sister is a lawyer and told me to do the same thing with my son cos his mom is neglecting him in ways. she says it will help lots… i cant remember what they call it, will have to call my sis and ask her. i’ll get back to you on that.

thank you very much for your help. Ive kept up with every incident and filed reports on everyone of them. My lawyer says we have a great case she just wont push everything forward without her fees paid.

legal aid? try google-ing for one in your area. im pretty sure they’re free under some circumstances.

I shouldnt have BANGED the guy.. he was my husband…. Someone else told me about prosper.com.. I dont know whats going on with them right now but it says they are not allowing people to get loans there at this time.

The problem with the link you gave me Dazed is the one in my arrea only helps people over 65.. they do not take on family law or criminal , in this case it would be both for him…
