I have a son with mental disorder and some times he

lives the house and is very difficult to find him, I would like to purchase a devise similar to a GPS to find him faster avoiding this way he gets injured.

Not quite a GPS but the firefly- a cellphone designed for children, simple to use and you can decide who can/cannot call and who he/she can/cannot call- is supposedly very good.

Talk to a cell phone provider. Lots of cell phones are equipped with GPS capability. Ask whether this would work for you, in your situation.

I have a friend in a similar situation
he purchase a rafio wave devise to search for his boy but is not very good
I would sudgest you go for the GPS system.
