I will be evicted if I can’t come up with $5000 by Tuesday.

I haven’t been able to find work since September. I am praying for a miracle. Please help!

You should start looking for a new place now because Tuesday is coming really fast. You will not be getting the money that your asking for, it just isn’t going to happen. You need to find a job (any job will do)because your going to need money to move and pay for the new place. Hope this helps :-)

See if you can borrow it from somebody.

Most of the help.com members are so poor we cannot pay attention!

Good luck!

Try to work something out with your landlord If you don’t want to move.

5000 for rent? Where do you live? Geez. You seriously need to move, or give me your money and I can manage it better for you. My mortgage is less than 1000$ a month!

*Try government for help ; like through welfare or collect unemployement insurance if there are things like that available for you.

*Try to get a loan from a friend, bank, pay day loan (online or stores in person).

*Look for a new place as well because that is alot of money if you can’t come up with it.

Sorry to hear the difficulties ; but there are government agencies to help in these situations in NY I am sure of that one. Even though I dunno the phone numbers to them but I know because I assist in managing buildings in Niagara Falls and Buffalo in State of New York. I doubt that someone online will loan you ; its the whole credibility and not knowing you that makes it difficult. Plus the amount is huge and its recession time specially in the U.S and NY in particular.

Places to help include :

Human Resource Administration , NYC —->http://www.nyc.gov/html/hra/html/home…

Read this from South Brooklyn Legal Services regarding emergency aid help for those who are owing rent —-> http://www.sbls.org/index.php?id=65

You can apply for what’s called “one-shot deal” if you are not qualified , or don’t want to receive welfare.

There are also “pay-day” loan online centres that are available to you that you can apply to and if you have income then they’ll loan you up to $1500-$5000 sometimes. you can do multiple of them at once. Check this list out:

Best of luck

Just to let you know, PayDay loans seem like a good idea, but bc very careful with them. My sister, her h and three kids were struggling. They went to PDL and it was fine, then next pay they had less money bc of the commission (or interest??) from PDL. It became a cycle. It was very tough for them to get out of it. They needed help from family to cover so that they could stop using that company for funds. After a while the family/friends were all paid back, but she said that she would NEVER do that again.
