I think its like 5 to 10 secs?

The advice i was given was to stay at home for as long as bearable, and call the hospital if anything felt wrong. its how long they last that counts. My partner went from initial waters breaking to birth in 6 hours though, so i was kinda lucky :).

I just did, he said that they where not true, because the way they felt, but, they do feel awfull and I want this baby out of me. He said they should stop in about ten or so minutes.

Two minutes if you are within a half hour of the hospital. My wife had 5 children and would stand up and walk off the cramps and show up an hour before the child was born after the first two… she figured it out.
