my ex and I hooked up.

he broke up with me 2 months ago after 2yr relationship. I didn’t see him much till now, we were at the same party and both drunk and we hooked up. he kept telling me how he loved me and he was cuddling and holding me all night. he suggested we be friends with benefits cuz he wanted me in his life w/o the parts of the relationship that he didn’t think would work out for longterm. I said no cuz I know it’s a bad idea but I want him so bad, I miss him so much, I’m so confused–if he’s still so interested and acting so bf-like even when he’d sobered up, then what’s his deal? even if he was a jerk for suggesting we hook up and be FWB… I shouldn’t want him back but I do… it’s so hard to get over him, I wish i could have our old relationship back

He just wants your body right now. He probably figures he could get some more
from you.Once he gets what he really wants things will go back with him leaving again.If he’s really still in love with you how come nothing happened during those two months? It was only until he saw you again that he realized he loved you again.

i’ve been in the situation like this, and exactly 2 years been with him 6 months ago… we broke up because at the end he wants to follow his ego to be single, traveling, happy, and try girls around the world first then being settle in one place… even he’s in love with me, but still his ego wins until he’s 40 (i guess)…
