A Visa card is a credit card. You don’t have to pay for everything you buy every month but they charge you a really high interest rate. A Debit card automatically takes the money from your checking account every day. You can not spend more than you have. You want a debit card.

The third Visa not associated with any of the above is a document you need to enter a foreign country.

couldn’t have said it better ralph! but yeah he is right…it’s accounting terms…credit you are borrowing money and debits are taking straight from something you already know.

Are you talking about a Visa to enter a foreign country?

She said she was booking a flight, which is why I mentioned immigration Visas.

If that’s the question, there is a BIG difference between the financial company Visa Inc and Immigration Visas.

Hey,

Visa Credit Card - When you apply and you are accepted you will have a credit limit ie; $1,000. You will have to pay monthly installments if you use your credit card.

Visa Debit Card - You have to use your own money in your bank account. If you have no money in your bank account you can’t pay for anything. If you have money in your account you can use it to buy for things on the internet or over the phone just like a visa credit card. The only difference is you don’t have credit.

Hope that helped
