I asked this guy to a school dance..
and it’s a girl’s choice, so he said yes to me. But we’re only going as friends.
Before I asked him, I asked if he was going first, and he said I don’t know yet, only if a girl asks me. And then to be safe, I asked him if anyone asked him yet, and he said nope and he started to smile at me. Then I said, then do you want to go? [I didn’t say with me..] And he said sure yeah I’d want to go. Then I said with me? and he said yupp, and smiled some more. I told him that I’d want to go as friends and he agreed. But the thing I’m worried about is that I might not end up going with him. It’s just a feeling, but I don’t know yet.. So, if I bring up that subject again, he might think I’m desperate. I’ve never asked any boy out to a dance before so I don’t know what it’s like.
