Wow are you serious Jules22871 use some common sence, I’m in a friends house and unless you like to people in your house using your computer at all hours I would think the welcome would grow really thin after many nights of using your computer so to not be a bother to my friends I need my own computer, and since your so lucky to have a job good for you I lost my job do to this big F**up that has been going on with the economy. And from the looks of it you must live in bumble F** nowhere. I wouldn’t be asking for a computer if I had my own use some common sence, and its called help.com not be a **** to other people with smart *** remarks like that, thats not helping now is it.

I don’t have a job. I can’t walk. And yes, I have had friends and family at my house several times to use my computer and at odd hours.
So you think because of the bad economy you deserve a free laptop. Shoot, there are people out there that don’t have the money to pay rent and you think you are so special you deserve a free laptop. WOW, you must be one awesome person!!! Since you are so awesome, you shouldn’t have a problem finding another really great job.
And yeah, I do live in bumble f*** nowhere and I like it here. But we don’t have great people like you around to hand out free laptops too. Maybe I ought to move to where you are and someone can give me a free laptop too.

there are many older desktops which you can have for nothing.
They work fine for the internet.
Not fancy but they work.
Why are you getting upset? Did you actually think that someone was just going to say sure I will send you a laptop right away? Jules statement was correct. You keep referring to it being help.com so heres some help. As stated earlier you can get a used one for cheep or barter for one by doing something for whoever has one for trade. You can look for discarded PC’s and combine parts to make one. Theres a lot of different options out there instead of asking for someone to give you one for free. Hope this helps :-)

okay.. “the clue” that was mean, the only reason why people will not help other people get computers is because thier too rich to even help out a poor person, but i agree mrs. teddy bear could get a laptop that is good and used for a low price

Monicaxreye: Its not being mean it just telling it like it is. A lot of people come on here thinking that they deserve something without working for it or just because they ask for it. Not going to happen. The schools rent laptops to their students also. So when people come here asking for someone to buy them a laptop or what ever, I will tell them just like it is. NO!!!!! 1 word.. netbook.. they half crappy spec but are really small and cost a quarter of the price of a proper computer, plus you don’t need any periferals exept power and a working internet connection.. i got one and i probbly use it more than my quad core….
plus with a service called on live soon you can play crysis on it (as long as you have mobile brodband or a broadband connection)…

am kakooza julius of medical school makerere university in uganda kampala 7072 I lost my jobon 15 june 2009. after 2 weeks our house caught fire and my day died in the house we lost all our property and i dont have clothes and other thing some of my document where on the PC it also got burnt. my problem is that i have IHV + i dont have a job clothes and the land lord is on my neck, am looking after my 2sisters who are also IHV positive and my young brother of nine months. I anyone has any way of helping me please i will be very greatful and help may be in a preyer pray for me or you can visit me in our county thanks brothers and sisters my God blesse all of you

You need to look in your local area for assistance. No one is going to be sending money over the Internet so its up to you to find a way to get this done. Hope this helps :-)

LMAO!!! Hate to burst your bubble, I bet you thought that people where giving out free laptops to anyone that asked. Reality check NOT HAPPENING. Thats how it is plane and simple. If you need one bad enough then you will find a way. Barter, trade or even find someone that you can do odd jobs for, to pay for one. No need for me to sugar coat it, straight up truth. I am disabled and have no money not enough to eat really good food or buy new shoes,and I am sick from time to time but I bought a laptop for 1,500 almost four years ago and I have studied so much about computers and have gone beyond just being a simple user, no not expert yet lol. but one point you all may want to think about is what if the person is to ill to work but can study and use the information to aid others ummmm sure give away laptops but make the ppl learn how to use them and take a study course who knows they could invent something great but I think a year of study would just be a beginning,why give some one something that costly if they would sell it for drugs if they miss a class kick them out have zero tolerance,what about older ppl that live alone but cannot grasp what a computer can do so lets share the computer with every one. and make the ppl who start making money pay for the computer they got for free.
I ve a laptop that is old n has prblm at start up so that u have to knock it hard to start. The hard disk needs replaced 4 its proper functioning. If u need it email me so that can tel u the shiping cost which is going to be borne by you.
