I paid less than $100 when I changed my last name and its all to do with the paperwork. But thats here in Nevada, I’m sure it changes from palce to place.

It’s not my first name I want to change…I’m just trying to keep both parents’ last name. And now the birth certificate place wants to change it to only my father’s last name.

It depends where do you live. In many countries you pay a small fee for the paper work, in others it is completely free.

My name’s Lee van Helden. I wanted to get it changed but it would mean changing my passport, driving license and everything else. And I’m only 17. I think you have to be 18 :\
