I’m 17 and having sharp pains in my heart area every time I inhale?

?

I’ve been quite sick for a long time. Doctors believe I have a very bad virus which has caused a 10cmcyst to form on my spleen along with many other worse things. The cyst would cause a sharp pain in my spleen and breathing difficulty because it is pushing on my diaphragm. NOW THOUGH, there is also isolated pain in my heart area and also pain/weakness in my arm. DO YOU THINK THE HEART PAIN IS RELATED TO THE CYST ON MY SPLEEN??

If you could help i’d greatly appreiate it!
Thanks!

I don’t know anything about your spleen, but I also get pains in my heart area. What I do to get rid of it is sit perfectly straight or even stand up straight and breathe. If it still is hurting keeping sitting or standing and take a drink of water. That normally get’s rid of it.

From what I know about heart attacks is that they make your arms hurt. SO you might want to get that checked out too.

the symptoms are similar to the pain the cyst was causing…sharp pains when breathing in, but instead of being in the spleen ara now they are in my chest and are accompanied with pain radiating down my left arm. i just don’t know whether to think the two are related in some way, or this is a new seperate symptom and i should get it checked out. ahhh, so confusingggggggg.

All chest pain should be treated as a medical emergency. Might be a good idea to go see a medical professional.

yeah, you’re probably right. I can’t count the number of times I’ve been into the doctor the past month though, so I’m just hesitant to go in again. Especially considering how hard my doctors have workd to figure out what’s gonig on with my body, and now they finally think the spleen cyst is the big culprit. I’d just feel like such a pain going in again :/ blehh.

I just got the same pain 10 mins ago, its really painful and then theres a shooting of pain up my left arm and im only 16 and a male, I lie down on my stmach to get rid of it. The thing is, it happenes when im doing nothing. I went to the doectors 3 years ago and they said it was a stitch near the heart and its because i drink too much caffeine, they told me to cut back but said i was healthy. Today was the first time i had it in about 8 months.
