I am a MSN Messenger ver 6.0 user for chatting purposes.

I recently decided to go ahead and upgrade my MSN to the 8.5 version, however, I got an unpleasant surprise! this new version requires me to pay a monthly fee. Please inform what steps to take in order to download into my computer the MSN Messenger 6.0 version once again.
