friendships help: Anybody from or near Burlington, Wisconsin i need some friends to hangout with? - Help.com

I am sure their are some type of activities you can get involved in to meet people. What do you like to do?

Are you on any teams? I know a lot of places have hiking groups too.

I move to Nashville Tn in August and went through not knowing anyone. I started to volunteering have met more people. None that I “hang out” with right now, but I feel like am becoming friends with some people.

I have kids so my life is very different. Their is really not my own time to do things with friends. It is more doing things with other people that have kids, you know.

On a side note, is you cough any better?

I think that is the way to go. You need to get out an be more active. You will meet more people.

The money issue comes up for us a lot too. There a lot of things we would like to get involved in but don’t have the money to join.

Do you have a nature center near? I know when I lived in indianapolis, we had a wonderful one that had hiking groups. I do not think it cost anything. They would go to different nature parks for hikes and even camping trips.

Do you go to church? If so, find out what kind of groups that have. Most churches have singles groups that do things together.

I am just shooting out ideas here.

Did you mostly doing things as a couple before? That happen sometimes, couple do everything together and then when they brake up, they are lost on what to do with themselves.

I have to get off here now. I have to go get my son test for Whooping cough. My daughter got tester yesterday but because she is on antibiotics, it might interfere with the test.

You should make a post asking people for ideas on ways to meet new people.
