Be glad that you have an admirer & tell your friend how you feel. His friend will understand if he really likes you - he wouldnt want you to pretend and like him. Explain why you dont like him, or unless you do like him then think which one you like more.

Well, there’s always the chance that if you look at what his friend has to offer, you might find some things you like in this guy that the person you’re looking at doesn’t. Give him a chance.
