How do i find out my password for help or how do i get a new one?

I think if you forget your password, where you log in, if you leave the password field blank it will send a new password to the email address registered with the account..

go to the log in a put in the e-mail you use no password they will send you a link

Thanks, ive tried that it just sends me a link to my email address so i can access help that way, it doesnt send me a password, i cant see any part on helps site where i can retrieve or change my password

Once you use that log in link, you can set yourself a new password in the account settings page (I was wrong about the password bit so lefrenchytoast was right about it sending you a link)…You dont need the old password to reset it once you use that link..

If you go to “Account Admin” and go to “settings” Its there on the right, sorry about my first reply lol

Dont supose you know anything about hotmail do you? I can get into it but i cant open my emails. Im on a new computer that could have something to do with it, ive no idea. Never had any trouble with hotmail before. Any ideas??

I just had to set up a yahoo account coz of hotmail not working. Its soo frustrating not being a computer jenious, im considering going back to the shop i bought it & kidnapping the guy who sold it to me until he sets it all up properley & shows me how to work everything. He said it was all straight forward & easy. Yea right!!!!

I use gmail/googlemail so I don’t have a clue sorry! It would just be easy here to blame Microsoft because they like to break web standards! Are you using Internet Explorer?

Yep, also trying to access through opera, wont work, tried to do it through firefox, didnt work, not entirely sure if firefox downloaded properley. Id send bill gates an email of complaint, if i could get into my email!!

Ahh that sucks! Maybe its just a problem on their side? I use firefox and just had to reinstall it all anyway because it got all bugger, yay!

Anyway, I doubt bill gates uses hotmail so at least he would be able to receive the email..lol

Thats what I was saying, but since hotmail is microsofts he should..and see how much it does not work :)…Im so glad I left it all those years ago when I did! But then I guess everyone has their own preference (I can not understand why so many people use hotmail except for the whole msn side?)

I only started to use a computer last summer, i had no idea about them, someone else set up my hotmail account for me, main attraction to hotmail is its free! I got a yahoo account now but not figured everything out on it properley yet, it’ll just take time, ill get there. I wish i could improve my typing speed though!

Ive been using computers for quite a few years now, did something on them in college so you would think I would know something but im pretty stupid lol..

I would suggest gmail over yahoo but everyone has their own preference! (I prefer gmail because its much less cluttered, whilst with hotmail and yahoo there is so much on the page at the same time! All three are free anyway). But I could complain about hotmail for agesss (just like how it likes to add in advertisements at the end of your emails..)

But to know about opera and firefox is more then what most users know after years of using them, plus typing just comes with experience. I tried those test things that are meant to make you type better/faster and they are just so ugh lol

Ive never heard of those to make you faster. My speed has improved slightly since i started using computers though. You should see the speed i write a text message, i figure i wasnt that quick at texting when i got my first mobile phone so i know my speed will quicken with practice, just wish i could get there quicker. lol
