Can anyone tell me stuff I might need to know about it? Thanks. (:

It grows out in time. You’re not allowed to go swimming for a few months after. You had to be 16 to get it pierced when I wanted it done but I’m not sure if they’ve changed it to 18. If you do decide to go for it, don’t go to a market or somewhere with a bad reputation, you must get it done properly, where it is clean, it might cost a little more but it reduces the risk of infection.

I wanted to get mine pierced when i was your age, glad I didn’t, belly buttons are useful! You can put things in like squirty cream and strawberries…ahem.
But each to their own!

careful, it hurts to get ripped out. it catches alot on belt buckles and zippers. If you get it done remeber not to play with it alot and only clean it maxium of twice a day. if your doung it yourself its best to use a big saftey pin. burn the end of it amd let it soak im alcohol before using it A big saftey pin is around the same size as a normal bellybotton ring. Once its in just leave it in for a few days to let the skin heal.

it’s a cute piercing and one of the easiest to hide :)

I do not reccomend doing it yourself, you wont get the angle right, it’ll look odd, then you wont be able to get it re peirced.I learned the hard way! Dont wear tight fitting trousers for a while after you’ve had it done. If the place you go to to get it done doesn’t look clean, it isn’t.

i did mine when i was 15… **** thing hurt bad. but with my skin type it healed within two weeks. most natural thing to get it healed fast is warm salt water. it cuts the pain too. hope it helps.

my sister got it done and it got horribly infected and now she has this disgusting scar… so just get it done somewhere decent and make sure you really take care of it
