Television help: I’m obsessed with LOST. - Help.com

I’m obsessed with LOST.

Wait that’s bad right?

I can’t stop getting news about LOST, spoilers, ect., and it has taken over my life. It’s not like I want to stop watching it, I just want to be able to go a week without starting a conversation with someone by saying “You remember on LOST when…” or “You watch LOST last night?”. I’d appreciate advise! I am more concerned with dealing with how to manage my time than just ignoring the show altogether, so my real question is how do I start the process of evolving from my years of lazyness and start a more organized life away from television. (LOST ROCKS! WATCH IT!)

How about I spoil the ending for you so that there’s no more to think about? Would that do the trick for you?

You can tell me but it won’t really help. It’s more along the lines of TV in general than just LOST, but LOST tops the list.

How about this:

‘Lost’ is fiction. None of it has happened or will ever happen. Seasons 2-4 were sub-par at best. The reason it is taking so long to conclude is because they make more money by dragging the show on-and-on in the hope that people like you will continue to watch. They’re making more money because you continue to watch. The series could have wrapped-up in 3 seasons if they really wanted to deliver the best product possible to televisions viewers.

The fact you are obsessed with this show and TV in general is making you an advertisement slave.

Okay I’m sounding sort of harsh but I’m just trying to get a point across. Hopefully you get it. :)

This is the funniest thing I have seen about LOST

Original on YouTube.com

To get rid of your obsession with lost you could stop watching LOST and watch something else and or find something else to do.

LOST is addictive and I am obsessed too. I think it’s just fine and you shouldn’t worry about it. It’s not like you’re storing Virgin Mary statues filled with heroin in a hole someplace.
