i have windows vista, and my internet explorer says im running with add-ons disabled.

but when i click on the bar that says that, it says everything is enabled. yet video, music, etc. etc.(add-ons) will not play. What do I need to do?

try uninstalling an add-on and reinstalling from its website, comrade. IE is buggy like this and is downright autistic at times. Also, try Opera or Firefox.

Go to options–>manage add-ons–>disable/enable add-ons in IE.
