Loans, Good Idea or Bad Idea?

Im trying to finance a used motorcycle, but im young and dont have amazing credit all dealerships are looking for. They all say I need a co-signer or a down payment. Problem is I dont have a co-signer, and dont really want to wait til mid summer to save up my own money to afford a down payment. Since i dont have a co-signer i was thinking about getting a loan for just the down payment. Good idea? Or bad idea?

Bad idea. This line of thinking will lead to debt VERY quickly. Be patient and spend wisely.

Where were you thinking to get a loan from? Friends? Banks? None has any and banks would not give you a penny without a co-signer either. So you would have to just wait.
