Recently I’ve been looking for work, but I have a huge problem with anxiety when I’m in public by myself.

Even if I work up the courage to go into town as soon as I start trying to apply at places I get panicky, dizzy, have trouble breathing, all those kind of symptoms. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on managing anxiety, it’s really starting to get in the way of my life and any help would be great. Thanks!

Go to the EFT website www.emofree.com and read/watch everything you can about anxiety etc. Also go to youtube.com and watch any videos they have on EFT and anxiety.

Learn EFT and continually apply to every situation that you feel you can benefit from a different way of being at that moment.

yup, you are having panic attacks. Totally a state of mind that effects your breathing, which in turn creates a carbon dioxide build up in system which causes the shaking and stuff. A combination of counciling and light meds will stop the attacks. The best thing you can do is confront your fear. Learn breathing techniques. It may be a bit mad to say this but get a small dog to take with you into town, animals can be very soothing.
take up ammature acting classes or join the local theater to learn how to relax and have fun around people.
Going to job interviews is nerve wracking for everyone.
Is it the places you go or the fear of the attack that concerns you most?
