Help I spilled water on my computer!

I just spilled a glass of water over the left side of the keypad of my mac laptop, so I immediately unplugged it an shut it down. Right now its folded over an armchair upside down on towel. What should I do?

or you can use a vacume i got water in my mums phone so i had to get it out quikly so i used a vacume and it worked (:

well, it should be okay for now. but beware, in the long run it will most likely take its toll on your harddrive :/ liquid soaks through the keyboard and into the computer and destroys the whole thing. i took my mac in not long ago because the harddrive stopped working one day. they told me it was due to liquid damage that had been there for quite some time, but it would cost around 1200 dollars just to fix it. >. be careful with your mac, its a fragile thing.

oh god. i just spilled water on my macbook. the computer is working, but the screen is messed up and there is a big water mark in the middle of the screen. What do i do? Can the apple store fix it?
