you should be able to rip the whole cd into mp3.
No limit to size.
Your program may be limiting the size but should not be a limit.

I use windows media player. I really don’t NEED above 320 but I wanted to hear what the highest I could get is. Any programs you know of that let me go beyond that? I want a really “liquid” and vibrant sound. Any music you know of that has that affect would be cool to hear about too. Anyway, good night.

Oh sorry I misread you question I thought it was a missprint of 320kb
as 320megB
You mean the audio quality bitrate?
Anything above 320kb per second would be undectectable.
The original data would not even be that good.When recorded.

So at the red book standard for CDs, the sample rate is 44.1 kHz or 44,100 slices every second. So what is the 96khz sample rate? You guessed it. It’s 96,000 slices of audio sampled each second.

Yea, the bitrate. I know there’s no real point as I can barely tell the difference between 128 and 320, this was just more of a “to know” kind of thing.

Does anyone know if its possible to rip cd’s past 320kb as mp3’s? I know theres some wma lossless thing but thats wma and I don’t like that(doesn’t work on everything).
