Convert a camera from film to digital?

I have a few old slr 35mm film cameras, but i want to make them digital. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I have a few digital cameras and i was wondering if you could just gut the two camera and put them back together. I know it will prolly be difficult but maybe someone has already done this before, or knows a website that has instructions on how to?

No no don’t do that. They’re completely different inside. You may be able to use the lenses interchangably but you can’t convert on to a digital.

Hm, pretty sure thats not possible…? Only because a manual slr and a digital are COMPLETELY different. An slr works by flipping a switch that lets light in for a fraction of a second, reacting chemically with particles of silver nitrate on film. A digital allows light to hit a semiconductor inside.

You may be able to find something called a digital back…
If I remember they could be put into SLR cams… but fiddling with a digital cams circuitry and CCD sensor array and an SLR is going to make a mess of things!
There is a very good chance you will mess up with the lense alignment as well…
Best thing to do is buy an FSLR cam which is already compatible with your lenses.. it will cost about $350 on the lower side…
