Am I wrong or does the stinger get left in you and the bee dies?

I’d imagine there might be a small sort of swelling of some kind.

Isha: when a bee stings you, it jabs in a stinger and gland, this action kills the bee. The stinger pumps in some acid, then stops. It can stay lodged in, so use something akin to a credit-card and lightly scrape the surface of your skin to remove the stinger. Some people are allergic to bees, in these individuals, their own immune system over-reacts, or freaks out, to the bee venom, causing them to go into shock: bees can kill this way.

However, as you’re fine, no swelling, shortness of breath, etc.
you’re not allergic, and will not die.

if you mean stinger, nearly impossible, it’s barely 1mm long.

Not a string ray as in Steve Irwin: if you’re confused on that.

Well, if youre allergic you should go to a doctor I think
The first time I got stinged I was so shocked I started yelling and swearing :) That is not recommended, by the way

I am allergic to bee stings… last time i got stung i dont even remember going to, coming home from, or anything that had to do with the hospital…. you would know if you were going to die. People can get alone fine after being stung by a bee, its just really sore like any cut on your skin would be for a few days… you should be fine buti would have a friend or a parent look at it to make sure…. taking the stinger out is a good idea too for whoever said that…..

If you get stung by a bee… and your allergic… you will know INSTANTLY… the allergic reaction starts the second you get stung….

Only if you’re stung by thousands of bees a once. Or hundreds of Africanized Bees. Even then, a shot of antihistamine will save you from going into shock, and one would be fine.

nothing will happen if you don’t take it out, it’ll just take a little longer as your body pushes it out. To remove: take use something akin to a credit-card and lightly scrape the surface of your skin at the bump to remove the stinger. Additionally, wash the area with normal soap to neutralize the acid.

it’s near microscopic and may have fallen out already. Just scrape the bump and wash as a precaution and stop freaking out: you’re a lucky one.

microscopic: so small as to not be seen.

your towel is fine, just remove the bee: bees don’t carry any diseases.

no transmittable diseases between bees and humans, save a microbe in honey and only for children under 2 years of age. Like I said, wash your wound, and you’ll be fine.

My dad is a biologist and said to try rubbing cortozone on it. Also if you see no stinger don’t panic, some types of bumble bee’s do not leave their stinger behind contrary to popular belief
