This is a math problem I have to do and I don’t get it… ((8+12)/(2),(4+2)/(2))

what math class is this for?
well the comma tells me its an ordered pair(unless that means something else).

order of opperations
Parenthesis Exponents Multiplication Division Addition Subtraction
so work with the ()’s first. 8+12=20/2= 10
4+2=6/2= 3
so if your doing graphing thats (10,3) If thats not what your doing im lost.

well plug in 10 for x in your slope intercept form and see if it comes out as 3
y = mx + b
so, plug in your 10 as x there, slope as m, and y-int as b, and see if it gives you y=3 to check your answer.
