how do you cope being away from your loved ones? - Help.com

if i’m not going to be gone long, i remind myself that i’ll see them soon, whether it be in a few days or even a month. if you’re having a new experience, then it’s good to step out of your comfort zone and see the way other people work in the world, and then you’ll appreciate your loved ones even more. if your’e really lonely without them, you can call them often or if you’re just living far away now (perhaps at college or just moved for job reasons) you can schedule a trip home every once in a while or invite them to come and see you.

Hah, wish i had a loved one ;P. Guess I couldn’t tell ya, but the girl of my dreams is with another guy….But this is my favorite part of the story to tell…I am actually glad for her. She has found herself a great guy (that I know actually cares for her other than her virginity O_o,) so I am actually happy knowing he cares for her. Isn’t that just unique :D

I write letters and use Skype to stay connected. As for coping, I remember that she has a place in my heart and I belong to her, and it will always be that way.

on a less romantic note: video games and 6 AP classes help tremendously just to get distracted.

Also, Kyle is a pretty cool guy, he’s a mature human being and doesn’t afraid of anything

to be honest with you, it might be really hard. but we have to look forward. when i went to college, i left my hometown and all my families and friends. it was hard becoz we have close relationships. but praying and spending time with god helped a lot. also, you can reach your loved ones through phone or email now. also, be open to new friends (becareful when selecting close friends tho).

Lol, I’m just too shy of a guy to give it a shot. Sadly, I think I will jump the gun if they ever break up, but only cause I don’t wanna miss my chance with less than a year left. :D

If you can try to find things to do to stay connected with them such as. finding them something you could send to them. writing a letter is great because no one seems to do that these days and it would supprise them. if you are not able to to do soemthing for them try to keep a log of wwhat you did while they were gone then give it to them as a gift when they get back so they see that you put your heart into it and missed them. im tired and about to get off work every have a good night!!!

i dunno i never been apart from a loved one i only love my daughter if i was too be apart from her id kill myself going too skool is hard enough missing her smiles and things it kills me daily lol

Well i Drop down and get my eagle on LOL. but i’m listening to music so thats where this comes from. well i’ve been seperated from my mom like forever and just one year ago i saw her and i don’t know its like she was always there. but not. i don’t think about it to tell you the truth for if i do i’ll get all teary and think on how much i miss so and so. and if the thoughts keep being there we i call them on the phone and email.all else i just move on.i try to and keep myself bz
