Windows XP or Vista?

Hi guys have not made a post in quite some time so here goes. I have to reformat windows has its having trouble like most windows problems. I used vista when it first came out for about six months and i got fed up with it and went back to XP. Im just curious with SP1 out for vista is it better have the fixed most of the bugs. What is your Oppinion?

er, what bugs? I haven’t noticed any. I have vista home premium if that helps. Works ok.

omg I hate vista. I won’t give up XP as long as it’s still supported lol

Vista sucks! At least for me, some games are much MUCH slower on vista than XP. Stick with xp.

I just cant stand how when vista is sitting idleing it uses like heaps of memory it doesnt make sense lol

XP has more security issues than Vista does. That being said, I like XP better, but I’ll probably switch to Windows 7 when it comes out.

I would advise to stay with xp untill the first service pack for Windows 7 comes out…

It is a good policy to wait for the first service pack before changing your op.

I’ve never had a problem with the first release of an OS before. But even if I did encounter a problem, it’s relatively easy to wipe the HD and reinstall XP.

Don’t bother with Vista, its getting phased out anyway and XP is way more stable.
