Please Please Help ME!

!! I took my car in to have them look at my lights. The dashboard and rear lights were not working. I asked them to call me before fixing it to make sure I would have the funds to pay for it. Needless to say they called back, it was going to be to much so I told them I would come pick it up and bring it back at a later date to have it fixed. I only drive it during the day so it was not that big of a deal to have to wait a week. On my way to go and pick it up, they called me back and said “Sorry while we were putting it back together we must of did something because now we can not even get it to start”. I spoke with the service manager and he told me I would have to pay for the damage. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I DON’T FEEL THAT IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO FIX IT WHEN THEY BROKE IT??????????

Sounds like this might very well be a crocked service station, that milks it’s customers for damages that they they intentionally caused. Call around to afree legal aid service, or to another reputable station and ask what if anything can be done. You might have to first pay the costs, then later, take them to court for the damages you claim they did.Be sure you get a write up of the original light issues that you took the car in for. Good luck :D

I would threaten to go to the Better Buisness Burreu, the Attorney Generals office, and also get a lawyer to sue them for the damages and time without a vehicle.
